Youth Representative
Calvin Andries, from Franklin County, is served as the 2015-2016 State 4-H President. Calvin first became involved with 4-H by attending meetings with his older brother; however, it was the first time at camp and watching as the clover was lit at North Central that ignited a passion for 4-H.
Calvin quickly fell in love with the shooting sports program. He was an inaugural member of the Shooting Sports Board before he served a year on the State Teen Council. He accredits 4-H for developing his public speaking, his ability to work with others and leadership skills. As President, Calvin most enjoyed meeting 4-H’ers from across the Commonwealth.
