Congratulations to the winners of the Agriculture Mini-Grant Program

The Kentucky 4-H Foundation has selected the winners of the Agriculture Mini-Grant Program. In this first year of the mini-grant program, we are awarding $24,509.85 to 26 different county and club level agriculture projects.

Any County 4-H Council, 4-H Club, volunteer leader or Extension Agent was allowed to submit an application but in order to be eligible for these mini-grants the projects had to be related to agriculture. We encouraged applicants to be creative and innovative with new projects and we are thrilled with some of the new project ideas that were submitted.

The Foundation would like to thank all the applicants and the Kentucky Agricultural Development Board (KADB). The funding for this program is part of the endowment established by the KADB with funding from the Kentucky Agricultural Development Fund. We appreciate KADB working with us to establish this grant program. Their continuous support of Kentucky 4-H and the Foundation has been tremendous.
