Kentucky 4-H Foundation Scholarships

 

The Kentucky 4-H Foundation is now accepting applications for our 2025 Scholarship Program. To be considered for a 2025 Kentucky 4-H Scholarship, please complete and submit the form, including all required supporting documents to Melissa Miller. 4-Hers, regardless of their background, socio-economic status, race, or gender, benefit from their participation in Kentucky 4-H. The data continues to track the transformational impact 4-H makes on the lives of young people, according to the National 4-H Index Study (2024):

    • 80% reported that 4-H helped them explore career options
    • 50% reported that 4-H has helped them with college decision-making
    • 66% said 4-H helped them see how science can solve everyday problems
    • 69% of youth reported that they learned about healthy food choices in 4-H
    • 83% reported that 4-H has inspired them, with 42% stating they were inspired to volunteer in their community

  • $2,500 James W. Kidwell Memorial Scholarship (recipient MUST attend the University of Kentucky, be a full-time student and plan to pursue a career in agriculture or related field) provided by Courtney Barancin, Matthew Barancin and Dorie Smith
  • $1,000 Ale-8-One/Michael Bandy Scholarship provided by Ale-8-One Bottling Company and the late Brenda Bandy
  • $1,000 Chris Caddell Memorial Scholarship provided by the Caddell Family and Heritage Bank
  • $1,000 Lexi Kinder Scholarship provided by Glen & Becky Kinder, along with family & friends
  • $1,000 PW Lawrence Scholarship provided by PW Lawrence Trust Endowment
  • $500 William T. and Joan Comer Family Scholarship provided by the Comer Family
