Homecoming is a significant event that unites the past and the present. The Kentucky 4-H Foundation invites all 4-H alumni, friends, and supporters to the Homecoming, where they can re-connect with old friends and reminisce on their fond memories of their time in 4-H.

This event will return to the location of the first-ever Homecoming celebration — the E.S. Good Barn on the campus of the University of Kentucky in Lexington. The E.S. Good Barn is a conference center for the College of Agriculture, along with housing the College’s Office for Advancement and Landscape Architecture studios and is the perfect venue for the 4-H Homecoming.

The barn was originally a dairy barn that was later renovated to provide offices and meeting space. By holding the Homecoming in this historic location, the 4-H Foundation returns to its traditional roots and to the memories of earlier 4-H Homecoming celebrations held there.

The celebration will feature a reception, dinner, silent and live auction, and viewing of memorabilia and old 4-H photos. 4-H has had a large impact on many people and how they live their lives today. Homecoming gives alumni a chance to spend a fun evening with people who share that same emotional connection to 4-H as they do.

So don’t forget to mark your calendars for June 7, 2014, because this is one night you will not want to miss.
