Gil R. Cowles, an active Kentucky 4-Her from 1971 to 1980 and a 4-H volunteer from 1981 to the present, is currently District Sales Manager with AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, LP. Gil has spent the past 26 years in pharma in territory sales, sales training, managed market accounts, and sales management.
Gil is active in several community organizations, including Freed Hardeman University Board of Trustees, Foundation Christian Academy Board of Directors, South Central Kentucky Christian Camp Board of Directors, Kentucky Angus Association Board of Directors, Warren County Cattle Producers Association Director, along with several other civic organizations.
Gil, with his wife, Mary, and their children, Corbin, Caroline, and Catherine, own Pleasant Hill Farms in Rockfield, KY. They raise registered Angus and SimAngus beef cattle. Their three children are active in the Warren County 4-H program.
