13-1-1 Fall 2012 Hardin County

Tractor Supply Company, in partnership with 4-H, is launching the spring 2014 Paper Clover campaign.  This national in-store fundraiser benefits state and local 4-H programming where a TSC store is located.

Tractor Supply stores are focused on supplying the lifestyle needs of recreational farmers and ranchers while also serving the maintenance needs of those who enjoy the rural lifestyle.  The TSC Paper Clover campaign has raised over $3.3 million for 4-H programs across the country over the last 4 years.

The spring 2014 Paper Clover campaign will take place April 23rd through May 4th.  Tractor Supply customers will have the opportunity to purchase a $1 or more paper clover during checkout and will be displayed in stores.  The county 4-H programs utilize these funds to support local camps, animal science and STEM programs, local scholarship opportunities, and many more programs enjoyed by 4-Hers.

Over $22,000 was raised by the state of Kentucky during the fall 2013 Paper Clover campaign.  This placed Kentucky in the top 10 for most funds raised nationally.  4-H benefits from all donations received with 70% of funds going back to the local and state 4-H communities where the donations were received.  The remaining 30% goes to National 4-H Council to support the Paper Clover campaign.

“Our Paper Clover efforts are one of the key ways our stores can give back to the community,” said John Wendler, senior vice president of Marketing for Tractor Supply Company.  “By providing essential funding for hundreds of 4-H youth people, we are able to support local organizations that are important to both our customer and our Team Members.  We’re proud to help improve the many communities in which we have stores through our partnership with 4-H.  That is what Tractor Supply is all about.”

So visit your local Tractor Supply store between April 23rd – May 4th to show your support for Kentucky 4-H!
